Your Guide At Midwest Waterfowl Outfitters

About me: This fall will be my 27th waterfowl season; I grew up in the cornfields of Southern Minnesota chasing honkers with my father. Since then I have spent the past 14 seasons working for a half dozen guide services from Minnesota to Texas.

My annual journey runs eight months starting in Alberta Canada and ending in Texas in January, after a months break we get rolling again in Missouri for the Missouri spring snow goose season ending in late April in South Dakota.

My background is in the construction industry being a 5th generation homebuilder, but since that industry is currently in the toilet right now I have went in another direction with my career. I have a B.S. in Construction Management from Minnesota State University - Mankato and my MBA from the University of Saint Thomas in Saint Paul. My desire is to keep Midwest Waterfowl Outfitters a smaller guide service so that I never personally lose control over how I feel your hunt should be run. I will be starting another seasonal business this coming spring when I am done with my hunting schedule so that I can continue well into the future with year-round employment.
